First Boyfriend
Diane had her first and only boyfriend, Jeremy, in the seventh grade. They dated for one month, but broke up the night of Diane’s thirteenth birthday. Pam threw a party to which she invited Jeremy’s parents. She observed Jeremy’s father leer at Diane in what she claims to have been a “spooky, perverted” way, and immediately ordered Diane to break off her relationship with Jeremy. Diane claims to have felt relatively neutral about the breakup, but does not comment on Jeremy’s father.
